Belarus pardons German in terrorism case; Russia moves political prisoners

The unexpected pardon of Rico Krieger came as at least seven prisoners charged in political cases in Russia were moved from the penal colonies where they were being held to undisclosed locations over the past two days, lawyers and family members said.
